Community Meeting – Broadband Opportunity Grant Application Partnership Published on August 27, 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Cross City is offering citizens with opportunities to attend and provide input on the proposed grant application for funding through the Florida Broadband Opportunity Program administered by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). This program is federally funded with State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), a part of the American Rescue Plan.

The City is supporting and partnering with Echo Technologies, LLC, an Internet Service Provider, who will submit the following application:

Construction of new Broadband Internet Infrastructure and Connectivity to Provide Affordable Broadband Internet Services for residents, businesses, and community support entities in the Town of Cross City

The project will consist of the following:

Echo Technologies, LLC will host a Town Hall meeting at Cross City’s City Hall, located at 99 NE 210 Avenue in Cross City, on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 5:30 PM ET

This public meeting are being conducted in a handicapped accessible location.
